Is this the best way to make money from a low traffic website?

3

I signed up with this program , http://www.bucks4banners.com and they give you £5 per month you display their ads. Does anybody know if this is the best site to try and make some money for a low traffic site, or a site with a low click through rate?? Or does anybody know any similar sites to this one??? Thanks in advance.

As long as they pay for you this is a good money. But you should also consider the option to increase the traffic of your site by offering your visitors some thing. Just be careful with these ads so they don’t scare your visitor due to the popups or other ads that appear in your site and make it load slower than if you did not use the ads.

Good Luck!!!!!

Most web site visitors do not respond well to banner ads.

And A low traffic web site has very little chance of making money.

If you really want to make money with your web site, the best approach is to add quality, original content to your site and write articles to attract more visitors. Then you can add Google Adsense to your site and affiliate links.

And good luck with your web site.

    Have fun

bucks4banners is quite good as you only have to display adverts on three pages and traffic isn’t important, so you can display it on pages where other adverts don’t get much attention. Or you can put it on pages as well as other adverts.

There is a nearly identical site, betterthanbanners.com, which pays exactly the same, however it is closed to new publishers at this time.

One last thing about bucks4banners is that you can add more sites on any other domains you have by going to the login bit of their site. This way you should get an extra £5/month for every domain you add that gets approved.

How else to make money depends on the topic of your site, and if your visitors come to it looking to buy things (for example if you run a product review website).

You could look into joining affiliate schemes, where you direct your visitors to a retailer’s website, and if they make a purchase then you earn comission on that. The easiest way to get started with this is to sign up to sites such as tradedoubler or comission junction (who both have a large selection of major retailers for a variety of topics) and apply to retailers through them:
    tradedoubler – http://clkuk.tradedoubler.com/click?p=60&a=1017419&g=1447
    comission junction – www.cj.com

You could also try signing up to Google’s Adsense program:
    www.google.com/adsense
Adsense displays text adverts which match the topic of your site. If your visitors click them then you make a small amount of money, although precisely how much you get per click depends on a lot of things. Though you mentioned that you have a low click through rate, so I’m not sure how suitable Adsense would be for you.
