What are some efficient website traffic generating methods?
I already know of SEO, and adding more content. Can you please tell me other methods that will generate traffic, because currently I do not get any traffic at all (0 page views a day). I know my content is fresh and original. Can you please give me some traffic generating methods that *do not cost at all*.

You need to get backlinks to your site. That means one way links to your site through article marketing, forum posting and other social marketing methods. Article marketing should be about 40% of your efforts in link building. Then follow with the rest. You can also find blogs that are relevant to your site’s content and post comments that add value to the blog.

Directories – Get listed in directories that are
related to your website. This will help with SEO
as you will have links into your site from other
major sites. You can do a search for directories
and submit your site to free directories that will
not charge for this service.
SEO – Focus hard on making sure you have
done everything you can do to increase the
likelihood of having search engines pick up your
site. This is a great way to receive free traffic. If
you target every page in your website, you will
have enough traffic and learn how you can
actually control your sales by controlling the
amount of traffic you have coming in.
PR – There are now companies that allow you to
write your own Press Releases. I would suggest
also when writing a Press Release to use
keywords that will get more traffic to your Press
Release and reference your website in the
Press Release. This can generate free traffic for
many months if you write about something that

Magazine Articles – Contact as many relevant
magazines about doing a story on your
business or website. If it is interesting enough,
many magazines need filler stories and are
happy to publish if you provide a story and

website. Try to find sites that actually
compliment yours. Do not trade with just
anyone because this could hurt your rankings in
the search engines.

that you maybe knowledgeable about. Do not
