What are the best ways to increase website traffic?
I have a weather blog, www.weatherbycody.tk and my traffic is dead. I have it on google an yahoo’s search engines but I need more. Does anyone have any tips?
And please post your thoughts on my site, thanks.
The best thing is really to put ads on some other websites, which can get expensive, but it would definitely be worth it in the long run (and after you gain a following you may not need to pay for ads anymore). You also need to mention your website on other networking websites and just plain get the word out there by telling people you know (who will likely tell people they know). I’m sure you know how to keep your website appealing and of course you need to maintain it well or people will quickly stop following it. Also, try to get in touch with other weather bloggers and such… you never know where you’ll get with networking! Good luck.
well for starters try to advertise your website on other websites ( which will cost you) but that is the best way. For example some websites allow you to post your add their for some cash obviously the more people who visit that website the more you will have to pay.

You need sponsors. They would be able to help you advertise your website.
But you need to come up with the cash upfront.
Also post it in your blogs or other websites such as myspace or tagged.com

posting weather alone wont cut the bread. think of something that people will find in your website that they will not find anywhere else like in weather.com, as far as i know, weather.com does a great job and why would anyone go anywhere else. think of something that will make them come back! because come on.. people don’t know your website. trying advertising but i don’t think it will be worth it. you need to do something that will caught the public’s eye. weather alone will not cut it.

There is just so much info to this subject but it’s not difficult. I know of a free 3 page report which is popular and might be OK for you to get started. If you catch on, follow the link to a review and you will see a helpful video. These have been the best sources for me and others I know.
