when asking a question on yahoo answers and u want to put a website link?
how do u get the website link to show up in blue where all u have to do is click on it and the reader who wants to answer the question can look at the site ur talking about?
Hey Nature Hugger,
A link is automatically made on Yahoo! Answers as long as the full url of the website is provided including the http:// prefix. For example www.yahoo.com would become http://www.yahoo.com
For longer url’s, simply copy and paste the web address into Yahoo! Answers by right hand clicking in the address bar and selecting copy, then right-hand clicking in the question / answer construct box and selecting paste.
Please consider that the community guidelines still relate to the use of links, i.e. the content on such websites should be acceptable for minors and must be relevant to the question or answer.

You have to add http:// at the beginning to make it work.

Right click on the URL and select: Copy.

The thing that confused me in the beginning is this. The link will not show up in blue when you preview your question. It only turns blue after you have submitted it. It’s automatic if you have the full site address. I just open another tab, go to the site I want to link to, copy the address, go back to the question and paste it in.
