Will Web Traffic Help get people to buy my ebooks?

5

I bought web traffic 1,000 im wondering will it help make people by my ebooks its a simple web site on freewebs you can check it out and tell me. freewebs.com/hotebooks
Where can i put the ebooks up and sell them?
Any clue where i can get hacker safe thing or something that can make them trust the site? Im low on cash so im trying to sell these ebooks i put all my money into it.

I’m not sure what ‘web traffic 1,000′ is – does that mean you bought 1,000 visitors to your website? If this is the case… I’m sorry to say that you’ve likely wasted that money. Buying traffic rarely leads to anything except wasted bandwidth….

As for your website, I would skip over getting any seals or anything to enhance the trustworthiness of your website. Your "website" is hosted in a subfolder of a free hosting service, that does not build credibility.

I understand that not having a lot of money can really set you back, but I don’t think you should expect any great results with your setup.

I think something that would help you out immensely is this, go to the warrior forum:

http://warriorforum.com

signup and read around. You can also post a thread there asking for advice; there are many self-made multi-millionaires and other online successes there that are willing to help out the "little guy". For the most part, this is a very newbie-friendly forum.

You could try to do everything on your own, by starting from scratch, or you could seek out help from people who work in the field and make money, many of them starting out from a place where they didn’t have two nickles to rub together.

That’s my advice… hopefully it’ll help you out.

    Jerome,
Have you considered putting them up on a website and selling them yourself?
The problem with bought traffic is it is not static and 90% of it is people who are payed to click on your site.

I am running a special this month You buy a domain name from me I give you a website $9.99 a month

craigslist and backpage: they hate it, and it’s a pain in the ass, but you’ll sell ebooks like crazy! also, make sure your website has every marketing edge that you can. For example, use a secure server and put up a seal to this effect, get a BBB membership, have good testimonials and have them third party verified (google: "third party testimonial verification")

You should get your website hosted on a paid site. Trouble with free web site hosting is you’re limited to the amount of bandwidth you can use and will stop serving your page once it reaches that point. Most of them make money by placing ads on your site and the only benefit you get is a free web site.

Go to http://www.clickbank.com and sign up for a free account and look around the site. Look at the sales pages (click on MarketPlace) of other people who have their e-books for sale to get an idea for a sales page of your own. Then consider signing up to be a vendor. Hundreds of people selling your e-book for an affiliate commission could be more lucrative than trying to sell it on your own.

I’m not sure about buying traffic but I heard there are scams around that take your money and say that they brought visitors to your web site but really they didn’t in the sense that your web site opened and actual people looked at it. They use scripts to make your web site think they are actual visitors but they’re just robots.

Once you have a web site you can get traffic by trying a free traffic exchange service like TrafficSwarm at http://www.trafficswarm.com/go.cgi?56268…
    or WebCentreSurf at http://webcentresurf.com/?27972
Try StumbleUpon at http://www.stumbleupon.com and add your site to your favorites.

You can try article marketing at an article submission service like http://www.ezinearticles.com and link back to your website in the resource box for your articles.

You can also comment on popular blogs like John Chow’s or Joel Comm’s that allow linkbacks to your URL. Do a Yahoo Search.

Create a video and upload it to YouTube with your URL flashed on the screen.
